About the Role

West London NHS Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, delivering a range of mental health and physical healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled CAMHS Specialist Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Hounslow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children and young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.
  • Provide one-to-one and group interventions, including CBT and other evidence-based therapies.
  • Offer clinical supervision to team members, including Band 4 Education Mental Health Practitioner trainees.
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop a supportive school environment that promotes emotional health and wellbeing.
  • Work with parents and carers to raise awareness of mental health needs and strategies for support.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified mental health professional with experience working in CAMHS teams. You will have a relevant clinical qualification and previous experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans. Experience of working in education would be an advantage.
