Company Secretary Support Professional

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary Admin Support to join our team at Hiscox. As a key member of our Group General Counsel team, you will provide administrative support to our UK-based company secretaries, covering for absences from the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing board and committee meetings, including gathering documents and loading them onto Board Intelligence.
- Maintain statutory books and records, and take the lead on gathering documents in advance of meetings.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Company Secretary.
- Perform administrative tasks such as tracking correspondence and ensuring all matters are being attended to.
- Organize and maintain files and documents.
- Assist the Company Secretary in preparing for board and committee meetings.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Requirements
- Experience in an admin support role gained in a legal or company secretarial environment.
- IT skills: Blueprint/Diligent, Microsoft Office, and Board Intelligence (training can be provided).
- Ability to operate in a complex environment, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and respond to challenges promptly and effectively.
