Job Title: National Account Manager

We are recruiting for a dynamic and talented National Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a key position that will be instrumental in driving the growth of our brand in retail and online.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute retailer-specific plans to drive sales growth and category development.
  • Utilize category and consumer insight to influence our customers and drive business results.
  • Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines.
  • Develop and implement full customer contact strategies to drive sales and category growth.
  • Support current listings, drive new business, and NPD (New Product Development).
  • Support across e-commerce and execute sampling activations and events activations.
  • Forecast expected volumes and sales pipeline and communicate with production and operations teams.
  • Analyse and summarise category data to share with buyers.
  • Prepare presentations for external sales meetings.
  • Complete regular store visits and attend retailer conferences.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of account management within the grocery sector and in FMCG.
  • Experience of building and delivering a customer business plan with a category and customer-first mindset.
  • A structured selling process and strong communication skills.
  • Influential, building effective cross-functional links both internally and externally.
  • Experience with P&L Analysis and confident with data interpretation.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team from a remote location.
  • Ambitious, driven, and self-motivated with proven ability to work independently.
  • Tenacious, resilient, and confident with excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales/negotiating skills.
  • A "get-things-done" attitude and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to manufacturers and retailers.
  • Enjoy working as part of a small team.
