Exciting Opportunity for National Account Managers

At Adaptable Recruitment, we are seeking highly skilled National Account Managers to join a leading wholesaler in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with national accounts in the FMCG sector, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and maximise sales opportunities, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and customer needs, negotiating and finalising contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts.
  • Performance Management: Manage sales forecast accuracy and inventory levels for national accounts, preparing and presenting regular reports on account performance, sales, and market insights to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in national account management in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful relationships with national retail accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the FMCG industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and CRM software.
  • Availability for frequent travel as needed.
