Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Services Manager to join our team at Romans Recruitment Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of tenders, ranging from £100,000 to £20m.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of tenders, including tender walk arounds, documentation, and pricing.
  2. Prepare and present proposals and costs to the client's team.
  3. Manage the stage-by-stage signoff of information, drawings, and design.
  4. Coordinate all building services activities from a spatial awareness perspective and programming/logistical approach.
  5. Monitor and control sub-contractor's accounts, applications, and variations.
  6. Produce detailed cost advice to Commercial Managers.
  7. Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) from an initial H&S and technical appraisal point of view.
  8. Undertake detailed snagging (defects inspection) of all installed services.
  9. Produce detailed snagging reports to sub-contractors and oversee the process of clearing all snags and final sign off.

The Services Manager role requires the management and witnessing of activities that can only be carried out during out of hours, crane lifts, building shutdown, life safety, and critical systems testing. The role is mostly site-based, with no planned working from home period during the week.
