Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Research Psychologist to join our team at Staff Partners Limited on a part-time, temporary contract basis. As a Clinical Research Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical research, patient care, and special education to children.

Working in a low secure CAMHS service and offering PICU input when required, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients to promote optimal outcomes
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions to support patients' mental health and well-being
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Providing counseling and support to patients and their families to promote emotional well-being

Key skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • Strong clinical research skills and experience working with children and individuals with autism
  • Proficient in patient care techniques and special education practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
