About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Partner to join our team at Lowell Group. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating regulatory and conduct risk, and providing expert advice to our business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business functions to identify and mitigate regulatory and conduct risk, and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Provide a professional and pragmatic advisory service to business areas on regulatory and compliance matters, while ensuring compliance with our firm's regulatory obligations.
  • Generate recommendations to improve business processes and ensure they are approved by operational management and other areas of the business.
  • Conduct horizon scanning to ensure the business is kept informed of developments associated with regulatory, industry, and consumer trends.
  • Perform summary and in-depth gap analysis to identify any gaps and work with key stakeholders to progress implementation in a timely manner, providing reporting as necessary.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory and industry changes, and serve as a contact point for the business and team.
  • Meet all individual COCON conduct rules and lead the promotion of a positive compliance culture.
  • Utilize significant experience in compliance-related roles and compliance advisory experience to drive business outcomes.
