Retail Sales Representative

Salary: £24,000 per annum, along with a company vehicle (new fleet being introduced) available for personal use, and a fuel card with a claimable rate aligned with current fuel prices. Additionally, there is a potential execution bonus of up to £800 per year, paid quarterly.

Tax-free expense allowance: £520 per annum on top of the base salary.

Inner London Allowance: £3,500 per annum.

Contract Type: Permanent.

McCormick & Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated full-time Retail Sales Representative to cover various areas.

This role involves working 40 hours a week from Monday to Saturday (with Wednesday off), offering some flexibility in start times. Sundays are generally off, except during the holiday season when double pay is provided. Some overnight travel may be required, typically from Monday to Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in major supermarkets.
  • Utilize technology to ensure product availability and monitor in-store execution.
  • Deliver stock to stores daily to guarantee product availability and adherence to store plans.
  • Maintain accurate store records, including inventory management.
  • Provide support for other brands within the McCormick family as needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Must possess a full UK driving license, the right to work in the UK, and a UK bank account.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude with strong relationship management skills.
  • Enjoy working on the road and independently.
  • Collaborate with a wider team to share ideas and best practices.
  • Customer-centric approach in all activities.
  • Comfortable using technology.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality is advantageous.
