Local Land Charges Officer

About the Role
Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in our Local Land Charges (LLC) service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing search responses to the conveyancing sector, maintaining the Local Land Charges Register, and answering enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of the Local Land Charges Register, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Provide search responses to the conveyancing sector, including Local Land Charges (LLC) and Local Authority (Con29) enquiries.
- Answer enquiries and provide certificates for LLC and Con29 searches.
- Analyze and interpret data, including spatial mapping data, to provide answers to questions contained in search requests.
- Use IT databases, including Idox TLC or Uniform, to manage and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Strong administrative and database inputting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, including spatial mapping data.
- Confident in using IT databases and software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a small team and build good working relationships with colleagues and external organizations.
