About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our team as a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to detainees in custody suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing acute medical healthcare to detainees, including assessment and care of detainees and staff in custody suites.
  • Collecting forensic samples, including road traffic offence bloods, and assisting the police with their investigations.
  • Signposting and conducting referrals, offering support for vulnerabilities and supporting patients to break patterns of re-offending.
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies and promoting good personal healthcare.
  • Working closely with the police and receiving training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.
