Child Welfare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist with relevant experience to join a dynamic frontline team focused on child welfare.
This team encompasses various aspects of child protection, support for children in need, and comprehensive assessments. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of families, addressing both early intervention and ongoing support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with local partners and organizations.
- Possess a thorough understanding of child protection laws and issues related to substitute care.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate risks, protection needs, and social care requirements of individuals and families.
- Engage in joint assessments to ensure comprehensive risk evaluations.
- Implement appropriate measures in collaboration with other agencies, adhering to legal and statutory guidelines to safeguard vulnerable individuals.
- Continuously monitor, review, and reassess care packages and services in light of identified risks.
