Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dermatology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dermatology to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to patients and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialist advice and support to patients and families affected by EB
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support
  4. Conduct outreach diagnostic services and provide education to local healthcare staff
  5. Participate in research projects to improve care pathways and quality of life for patients with EB

Requirements:

  • Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience of working in a clinical environment, preferably in paediatric dermatology
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
