Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dermatology to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior clinical nursing leadership and professional development for the nursing and support workers within the clinical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior clinical nursing leadership and professional development for the nursing and support workers within the clinical area.
- Provide professional advice and support to the whole multidisciplinary team in caring for patients.
- Develop and deliver high-quality patient-centered care and work with the Divisional team to ensure this is incorporated into the business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services within the context of a clinical governance framework.
- Provide nursing leadership for the implementation and evaluation of all education, training, and development of staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, guidelines, and protocols for the management of patients attending the clinical area in conjunction with the specialist MDT teams.
- Prescribe appropriately as a Non-Medical Prescriber within the area of specialty from an agreed formulary in line with Trust Protocols and Guidelines and within own scope of professional practice.
- Be responsible for ensuring own professional registration is up to date and maintain practice within accordance of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Requirements:
