Paediatric Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist

Leaders in Care presents an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Tissue Viability to join their team at a prestigious hospital for women and children. This part-time position offers 22.5 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of up to £60,000, and an array of attractive benefits.
Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Tissue Viability, you will provide expert guidance and support to nursing teams caring for children with skin conditions and tissue viability needs. You will lead and coordinate patient care, ensuring the best interests of the child and family. You will also advocate for children and young people undergoing dermatology treatments, develop and participate in patient clinical pathways for skin condition treatments, collaborate with dermatology consultants to set care standards for patients, train and develop the nursing team in dermatology and tissue viability care, and ensure hospital policies for dermatology and tissue viability services are up to date.

RequirementsThe ideal candidate for the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Tissue Viability role will have a Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration, substantial post-registration experience in children's nursing, relevant qualification and experience in Tissue Viability, mentorship qualification, Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification, and Level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
