Job Title: Clinical Specialist in Paediatric Tissue Viability

Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist in Paediatric Tissue Viability to join our team at The Portland Hospital. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and ongoing support to nursing teams involved in the care of infants, children and young people with skin conditions and birthmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides expert knowledge, advice and clinical skills to nursing teams involved in the care of infants, children and young people with skin conditions and birthmarks.
  2. Leads and participates in coordinating all aspects of patient care, maintaining the best interest of the child and family at all times.
  3. Advocates for every child and young person attending the hospital for investigations and/or procedures for dermatology treatment.
  4. Develops and participates in patient clinical pathways for all infants, children and young people attending the hospital for investigation and treatment of skin conditions.
  5. Trains and educates nursing teams delivering care to dermatology and tissue viability patients, working collaboratively with the HCA education and practice facilitating team.
