Job Description

As a valued member of the HE Space team, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch services to our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Concept Creation and Development: Collaborate with the project team to design and implement software changes and new development initiatives, ensuring alignment with project context and relevant documentation.
  • Test Plan and Procedure Creation: Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures, guaranteeing that they are complete, consistent, and adequate for the project's requirement baseline and test specification.
  • Test Execution and Defect Management: Execute test scripts, log defects, and manage the internal process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Reporting and Communication: Provide clear and concise test execution reports to the development team, highlighting results and outcomes.
  • Unit and Integration Testing: Participate in the creation of unit and system integration tests, as well as hardware/software integration tests.
  • Automation and Tool Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of automation and management tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in software design and testing in resource-constrained/embedded environments using C, C++, or Java. Experience with Linux environment development and systems-based thinking.
  • Software Integration and Testing: Proven experience in software integration, performance testing, and debugging at the hardware level for complex systems.
  • Requirements Analysis and Realization: Skilled in requirements analysis and corresponding realization/implementation.
  • Software Development Tools: Familiarity with tools such as VSCode, Eclipse, JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Space/On-Board Software Experience: Ideally, experience in Space/On-Board Software environment and associated processes.
