Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Development Lead to lead the delivery of electronics projects at OPD. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing hardware projects to completion and will be responsible for developing proposals, leading technical direction, and managing subcontractor resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of all electronics and embedded software components
- Develop proposals that accurately reflect the scope and requirements of hardware projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Lead the technical direction of hardware developments on a wide range of projects
- Manage subcontractor resources and relationships required for specialist development tasks
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing hardware projects to completion
- Experience in product design and/or engineering, ideally including the development of diagnostic medical devices
- Strong technical expertise in firmware and hardware development
- Excellent communication and project management skills
