About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Development Lead to join our team at OPD. As a key member of our electronics team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of electronics projects and strategically developing OPD's firmware and hardware design and development offerings to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of all electronics and embedded software components
  • Develop proposals that accurately reflect the scope and requirements of hardware projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Lead the technical direction of hardware developments on a wide range of projects
  • Manage subcontractor resources and relationships required for specialist development tasks
  • Proven track record of successfully managing hardware projects to completion

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Background in product design and/or engineering, ideally including the development of diagnostic medical devices
