Salary: £30,700- £32,600 per annum

Working Hour: Full-time

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: Young People (YPs) aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People Family Practitioner / Level 3 in Residential Childcare

Experience in Years: Ideally experience in supporting children, but a passion for working with children is essential

Employment Type: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualised care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans, in collaboration with the young person, their family, and other professionals
  • Participating in the planning and delivery of activities, including education, leisure, and life skills
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
