Inventory Coordinator

**Job Summary**
Assure Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our industrial client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review current inventory levels, sales trends, and supplier lead times to optimize stock availability.
- Forecast future demand and calculate inventory requirements for our product portfolio.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Process all purchase orders for nominated suppliers.
- Review and authorize proforma invoices, ensuring timely payment and confirmation with suppliers.
- Oversee the shipping process with suppliers and freight agents.
- Monitor freight reports and chase suppliers for timely delivery of agreed shipments.
- Coordinate with our central warehouse team for order booking and prioritization of urgent deliveries.
- Ensure accurate import tariff codes are applied to our system for all products.
- Manage the efficient introduction and removal of obsolete and replacement items to maximize stock availability and sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and launch of new products aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Quality control and warranty management.
- Product sourcing and new product introduction.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar procurement role.
- Experience reviewing inventory levels and managing suppliers.
- Ability to process purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.
