**Job Summary**

Assure Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a robust group procurement process.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review current inventory levels, sales trends, manufacturing lead times, and supplier minimum order quantities to optimize stock availability.
  • Forecast future demand, including seasonal products, and calculate stock requirements for the nominated product portfolio.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Process all purchase orders for nominated suppliers.
  • Review and manage proforma invoices, ensuring timely authorization and confirmation with suppliers.
  • Oversee the dispatch and shipping process with suppliers and freight agents.
  • Monitor freight reports and chase suppliers to ensure timely delivery of agreed shipments, updating expected delivery dates as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the central warehouse team for booking-in of orders and prioritizing urgent deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate import tariff codes are applied to the system and updated as necessary for all items within the nominated product portfolio.
  • Manage the efficient introduction and removal of obsolete and replacement items, maximizing stock availability and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and launch of new products aligned with new catalog launches and marketing promotional activities.
  • Quality control and warranty management.
  • Product sourcing and new product introduction.

**Requirements**

  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Experience reviewing inventory levels.
  • Proven ability to process purchase orders.
  • Experience managing suppliers.
