Job Title: Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a reputable family-owned building contractor, is seeking an Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that building projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sub-Contractor Management: Issuing tender enquiries, evaluating quotations, and convening pre-contract meetings with sub-contractors.
  2. Site Measurement and Valuation: Measuring building works undertaken and valuing sub-contractor interim accounts.
  3. Agreement of Sub-Contractor Final Accounts: Agreeing final accounts with sub-contractors and ensuring timely payment.
  4. Reporting and Administration: Assisting in the preparation of monthly CVR reports and profit and loss reports.
  5. Client Variations: Agreeing client variations and preparing applications for payment.
