Apprentice Building Surveyor

Our client, a regional family-owned building contractor, is seeking an Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that building projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Issuing Sub-Contractor Tender Enquiries: You will be responsible for issuing tender enquiries to sub-contractors, evaluating their quotations, and convening pre-contract meetings to discuss the project scope and requirements.
- Site Measurement and Valuation: You will be responsible for measuring building works undertaken on site, valuing and paying sub-contractor interim accounts, and agreeing sub-contractor final accounts.
- Commercial Support: You will provide commercial support to the construction team, including preparing and submitting monthly profit and loss reports, and assisting in the preparation of CVR reports.
- Client Variations: You will be responsible for agreeing client variations, preparing and submitting external applications for payment, and ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed.
