Community Paediatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Paediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team in Bristol, North Somerset, or South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our Community Paediatric service, you will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, diagnosing, and managing the health needs of children and young people aged 0-18 years.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in child development and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work autonomously within a range of outpatient settings, offering evidence-based advice and treatment to young people and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and manage the health needs of children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the Community Paediatric team to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to young people and their families on managing neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child health and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Requirements- Registered Nurse with a license to practice, evidenced by NMC registration.
- Knowledge of child development and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
