Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Community Paediatric team as a Neurodevelopmental Nurse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people aged 0-18 years, assessing and managing neurodevelopmental conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties, using evidence-based pathways and guidelines.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Provide expert advice and support to families, promoting positive outcomes and empowering them to manage their child's condition.
  4. Work autonomously within a range of outpatient settings, using your clinical expertise to make informed decisions and provide high-quality care.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a license to practice, evidenced by NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of child development and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties.
