About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead a team of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in our Custody Suites. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and management of the HCP team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HCPs in providing detained individuals with comprehensive assessments and ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met.
  • Manage the HCP team, ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and Lead Senior to ensure compliance with National Clinical Governance Standards and Force-specific needs.
  • Identify and address rota gaps, ensuring adequate coverage for the Custody Suites.

Requirements

  • Qualified RN Adult, RMN, RGN, or Paramedic with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a Custody environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service as an Adult RN.
  • 3 years' UK residency.
  • Current manual driving license with no restrictions for occasional travel to other Custody Suites or local hospitals.
  • Subject to police vetting checks.

  • Competitive salary of £45,000, with potential for additional earnings through overtime shifts.
