Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Community Fundraising and Partnerships Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of our approach to fundraising through trusts and foundations, with a focus on securing funding to support our ambitious strategy and plan for growth over the next two years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Business Development and Strategy in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, with a focus on trusts and foundations.
  • Research and identify potential funding opportunities, and develop and submit high-quality funding applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Contribute to the development of our fundraising materials, including reports, proposals, and case studies.
  • Provide administrative support to the fundraising team, as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality funding applications and reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of motivation and proactivity.
  • Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising trends, preferably in the UK and Europe.
