Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at Brakes. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the Isle of Wight region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new sales opportunities in your designated territory, actively promoting and developing new business relationships to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Onboard new customers effectively and successfully, while ensuring close working relationships with existing accounts and recording customer information on our CRM system.
- Work closely with our distribution center and drivers to create a strong team working ethos.
- Deliver profitable volume growth and meet sales targets.
- Monitor competitor and independent market activity in your territory and provide insights to ensure you are offering our customers the best solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong background in field sales or account management.
- Commercially astute and technically proficient in Excel, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
- Food industry experience is desirable but not essential.
