VAT Compliance Specialist

As a key member of the Product Tax team at PATRIZIA AG, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality compliance services for our funds.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee the preparation, verification, and filing of VAT returns for our PATRIZIA funds.
- Handle queries from tax authorities and manage VAT audits and controversies.
- Provide VAT-related guidance and support for policy documents used by the PATRIZIA Group.
- Lead project management of various tax compliance projects, including VAT and other tax-related initiatives, to support fund management and operations teams.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement tax compliance and automation initiatives, such as the Impero tax CMS tool.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in international tax and VAT matters.
- Hold a degree in accounting, tax, or a related field, and/or be a Chartered Professional Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor.
- Experience with other European taxes is an asset.
- Familiarity with tax challenges in international organizations and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external advisors.
- Strong Excel skills.
- A team player with a proactive approach to handling day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Risk awareness and high integrity.
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of German considered an asset.
