We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Quantum Group as a Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in commercial lending and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, writing, and managing Loan Against Property / Commercial Real Estate lending business for Quantum Group. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a business plan to drive growth and revenue in the commercial lending space.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Coordinating with underwriters to present credit proposals to risk and executive committees.
  • Managing post-approval requirements to ensure timely drawdown of facilities.
  • Utilizing effective marketing and sales promotional tools to raise the company's profile in the target segment.
  • Participating in industry events and forums to maintain a strong network of contacts and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Monitoring loan accounts and ensuring compliance with reporting and actionable norms.
  • Communicating with clients to ensure timely compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Exhibiting high levels of customer service and a sound understanding of retail and business transactions.
  • Undertaking projects and assignments as directed by management.

Key Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  1. Ability to network with potential clients and build relationships with existing customers.
  2. Strong knowledge of commercial property/asset-backed loans in the UK.
  3. Understanding of property valuation, quality, and marketability of properties in the United Kingdom.
  4. Knowledge of regulations driving the property or asset-backed loans and/or mortgage market in the UK.
  5. Credit note writing and credit assessment skills.
  6. Banking and lending experience.
  7. Ability to contribute towards product development and refining lending policies to suit market requirements.
