Autopack Ltd is a reputable machinery provider specializing in the sales and servicing of a diverse range of semi and fully automatic packaging equipment, catering to various sectors including food, beverage, pet care, chemicals, personal care, home care, and automotive.

Your responsibilities will encompass the management and execution of new machinery projects at Autopack Ltd.

Frequent travel to client locations is a crucial aspect of this role, which includes:

  1. Initial site assessments to gather measurements at the project's onset.
  2. Progress evaluations of ongoing projects.
  3. International travel to supplier facilities for machine validation and training, necessitating a valid UK passport and/or full residency.

Key duties include:

  1. Overseeing the management and execution of all new machinery projects.
  2. Conducting regular visits to client sites and suppliers for technical training, machine acceptance testing, and clarifying technical and commercial details of specific inquiries/orders.
  3. Participating in site project review meetings.
  4. Utilizing the company's internal ERP system to track new machine orders, including raising purchase orders to suppliers.
  5. Preparing layout proposals in collaboration with CAD specialists.
  6. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations for installations.
  7. Supporting the company's ISO Quality Management System.
  8. Commercially overseeing and managing the revenues and costs associated with multiple projects to maintain contract profitability.
  9. Tracking the commercial aspects of new machinery projects.
  10. Managing project timelines effectively.
  11. Identifying and invoicing contract variations.
  12. Planning, managing, and completing on-site installations.
  13. Utilizing Microsoft tools such as Teams, Project, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, along with a solid engineering background. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Salesforce CRM is essential.
