Job Summary:
Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in a permanent role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of mechanical projects in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Foster effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Site Monitoring and Oversight: Monitor and oversee mechanical work at project sites to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Quality, HSE, and Support Functions, to ensure project goals are met.
- QA Plan Review and Implementation: Review and implement contractors' QA plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Audit and Quality Control: Conduct site audits and equipment inspections to verify accurate completion of scope of work and adherence to quality and HSE plans.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and communicate application and installation concerns to site management for resolution and future issue prevention.
Requirements:
- Education: University or Technical Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Experience with utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK.
- Location: Based near the project site in the UK.
