Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is proud to partner with our industry-leading client to find a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the UK.

To be successful in this permanent role, applicants must hold a University or Technical Degree in Engineering and be based near the site in Hereford. Experience with Utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK is also essential.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to develop effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members to ensure successful project completion.

  1. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet contractual obligations and are built according to plans.
  2. Monitor and oversee mechanical work at the project site to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  3. Review and approve contractors' QA plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  4. Conduct site audits to verify accurate completion of scope of work and identify potential issues.
  5. Communicate concerns and recommendations to site management for resolution and future issue prevention.
