Site Manager - Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee a construction project in the Brighton area.

The Role:

  • Direct and supervise construction activities on-site.
  • Oversee staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Track project progress and report milestones to management.
  • Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage.
  • Implement and uphold quality control procedures.
  • Address issues and conflicts arising during construction.

The Person:

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with a strong construction background and civils experience.

Requirements:

  • A valid SMSTS qualification is required.
  • A strong grasp of relevant construction software tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals.
  • Impeccable time management and organisational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in construction, with a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

Additional Information:

Hours of work: 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Competitive day rate negotiable depending on experience. Working in a supportive and collaborative team setting.
