We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our construction project in the Brighton area. This role involves overseeing on-site activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets, and upholding construction quality for our company.
The Role:- Direct and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Oversee staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards, with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries.
- Track project progress and report milestones to management, providing regular updates and insights.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards.
- Address issues and conflicts arising during construction, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong construction background and a proven track record as a Site Manager. The successful candidate will have civils experience and a strong understanding of construction software tools.
- A valid SMSTS qualification is required, with a strong grasp of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals, including subcontractors and site personnel.
- Impeccable time management and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A deep understanding of construction quality control procedures and a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- Hours of work: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive day rate negotiable depending on experience.
- Working in a supportive and collaborative team setting.
- Please note that this position is based onsite Monday to Friday, as the nature of the role does not allow for hybrid working options.
