We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee a large-scale construction project in the Brighton area.
The Role:
- Direct and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Oversee staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
- Track project progress and report milestones to management, utilizing relevant construction software tools.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage, to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures, ensuring exceptional construction quality.
- Address issues and conflicts arising during construction, utilizing strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
The Person:
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong construction background, preferably with civils experience and a proven track record as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
Requirements:
- A valid SMSTS qualification is required.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals, including subcontractors and site personnel.
- Impeccable time management and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in construction, with a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be based onsite Monday to Friday. A competitive day rate is negotiable depending on experience, and the company offers a supportive and collaborative team setting.
