Biomedical Scientist Training Officer

At BioTalent, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Histology team in London Euston. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our histopathology service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, processing, and dispatch of histology specimens in accordance with high standards and turnaround times.
- Collaborate with Senior Biomedical Scientists, histology staff, and senior leadership to maintain quality and accuracy of output.
- Lead the training and development of Medical Laboratory Assistants, Medical Technical Officers, and Biomedical Scientists.
- Oversee the management of IBMS portfolios and supervise the work of team members.
- Pursue professional development through necessary training courses and adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain histology equipment in accordance with department policies.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Experience in histology in a healthcare setting
