The Role: Support Worker
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Abingdon. You will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to two adults with complex needs, fostering their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized support tailored to individual needs, encompassing personal care, daily living activities, and social engagement.
- Implement positive behavior support plans, promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
- Facilitate meaningful activities and outings in the community, enriching the lives of those we support.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Manual driving licence is preferred for day shifts due to community activities.
