Cloud Security Specialist

Role Objective
The primary aim of this position is to design, execute, and oversee the security framework for the bank's cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust security administration processes are in place across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of emerging security technologies within the bank, including solutions such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs), cloud data loss prevention (DLP), and cloud encryption, to enhance the security of cloud environments through effective integration.
- Formulate and implement robust security administration processes for all platforms, including cloud security architecture, in alignment with the organization’s security and regulatory standards.
- Deploy cloud security monitoring tools to identify and alert on potential security threats and irregularities.
- Carry out investigations into incidents related to cloud security to determine root causes and implement corrective actions swiftly to minimize impact and restore normal operations.
- Identify, analyze, and integrate new cloud security technologies and solutions to mitigate threats and strengthen the bank's cloud security posture.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and reports for senior stakeholders regarding cloud security architecture, policies, procedures, and incidents.
- Collaborate with the cloud operations team to manage the bank's cloud security infrastructure, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection controls, to safeguard cloud resources from unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Provide guidance to key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on areas of functional and cross-functional impact and alignment.
- Assess and manage risks to support the control and governance agenda.
- Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing risks and enhancing controls related to the work performed by your team.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
- Collaborate with other business areas to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
- Develop solutions based on advanced analytical thinking, comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis and interpretative thinking will be necessary to define challenges and create innovative solutions.
- Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving processes.
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives, utilizing influencing and negotiation skills to secure desired outcomes.

Successful candidates will be evaluated on critical skills relevant to this role, including a solid foundational knowledge of VM, Endpoint, or Data Security, extensive experience with AWS or Azure and Openshift, and a strong understanding of security network architectures such as Firewalls, DMZ, Proxies, DNS, web, and mail servers. Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and cloud technologies (particularly Azure and SaaS-based security solutions) is highly regarded.
