About the Role
Parcliffe Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried General Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a Salaried GP, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe care to patients, ensuring clinical continuity and continuity of care.
- Conduct mixed-media sessions, including face-to-face, telephone, video, and online consultations, to meet the needs of patients.
- Carry out home visits for patients, providing care and support in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage pathology results, medication requests, and clinical administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing support and coverage for colleagues as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the Practice team, including Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, and Physician Associates.
- Contribute to quality improvement and audit work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Manage and raise safeguarding concerns, ensuring the well-being and safety of patients.
- Support the training of medical students and observational work placements, promoting education and development.
- Collaborate with the Partnership to achieve strategic aims, making recommendations to enhance services and improve quality of care.
- Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care, contributing to the success of the Practice.
Person Specification
- Experience of working in UK General Practice, with a strong understanding of the NHS and its policies.
- Experience of working with vulnerable groups, including those with complex needs and diverse demographics.
- Experience in the management of long-term conditions and complex care, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of using General Practice IT systems, including EMIS Web, Docman, and AccuRx.
- Qualifications: GMC Registered, Qualified General Practitioner (MRCGP or equivalent), and currently on a performers list.
- Clear enhanced DBS check, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
