At Human Appeal , we are pleased to announce an opening for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to become part of our dedicated team. This role is essential in supporting our People and Culture Manager in the recruitment process.

Human Appeal is a charitable organization committed to alleviating poverty through humanitarian assistance, sustainable development initiatives, and advocacy for those we serve globally.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, the selected individual will be crucial in managing the initial stages of recruitment for new staff and volunteers. This includes conducting thorough background checks, verifying employment and educational histories, and gathering character references. The role also involves assisting the People and Culture Manager with various recruitment tasks, such as creating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, and organizing interviews. This ensures that our recruitment processes are efficient, compliant with audit standards, and that we attract the most qualified candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-employment screenings, including background checks and reference verifications for volunteers and staff.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture Manager to facilitate the complete recruitment cycle for all departments.
  • Develop and write job descriptions that accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage the posting of job advertisements across various platforms.
  • Shortlist candidates based on established criteria and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, ensuring clear communication between candidates and interview panels.
  • Administer assessment tools and provide feedback to candidates post-interview.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records in line with ISO and Investors in People standards.
  • Work alongside the People and Culture Manager to enhance Human Appeal's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Strive to improve the overall candidate experience throughout the application process.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
