About the Role
As a Retail Assistant at GSF Car Parts, you will play a crucial part in delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the team's success. Your role will involve face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve trade and retail customers, maximising sales opportunities.
- Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
- Assist the sales team with sales promotions, answering telephone queries, and dealing with electronic queries.
- Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
- Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
- Contribute to a positive team performance, working on personal benchmarks to optimise performance and sales.
- Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
- Ensure the customer-facing areas of the branch are kept clean and tidy.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
- Represent the company's values and maintain a professional appearance.
- Work towards achieving relevant set KPIs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adopt a positive approach to customer queries, proactively seeking resolutions.
- Confident user of IT and computer systems.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
