About the Role

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Associate to support the growth of its Tourism Economics business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the industry, driving innovation and excellence in economic research and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the growth in subscription revenues across the Tourism Economics business.
  • Lead research & qualification of new business leads for purposes of outreach.
  • Set up new business meetings for the regional Commercial Managers & meet set KPIs.
  • Become proficient at providing demonstrations of TE services.
  • Identify market changes and adjust sales approach accordingly.
  • Become a product champion - develop a strong knowledge of TE subscription services and their application.
  • Liaise and support Commercial Managers on their marketing strategy, requirements, and campaigns.
  • Business Reporting & Analysis.
  • Use Salesforce for all sales activity.
  • Monthly reporting – performance of sales and regional updates.
Requirements
  • A proven, demonstratable sales track record, with at least 2 years of experience in a B2B environment selling subscription or information based services.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills, confident on the phone with prospects/clients.
  • Experience with Salesforce & Excel.
  • Economics or international affairs or marketing degree preferred.
  • Phone sales experience along with face-to-face selling.
  • Experience selling in research and data services.
  • Existing network of contacts.
  • Experience with Sales Loft.
  • Additional speaking language.
