Job Description

Job Title: Commercial Associate - Sales Executive

Job Summary:

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Associate to support the growth of its Tourism Economics business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, developing business relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of subscription revenues across the Tourism Economics business
  • Lead research and qualification of new business leads for purposes of outreach
  • Set up new business meetings for regional Commercial Managers and meet set KPIs
  • Become proficient at providing demonstrations of TE services
  • Identify market changes and adjust sales approach accordingly
  • Become a product champion, developing a strong knowledge of TE subscription services and their application
  • Liaise and support Commercial Managers on their marketing strategy, requirements, and campaigns
  • Business Reporting and Analysis
  • Use Salesforce for all sales activity
  • Monthly reporting - performance of sales and regional updates

Requirements:

  • A proven, demonstrable sales track record, with at least 2 years of experience in a B2B environment selling subscription or information-based services
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects
  • Strong presentation and writing skills, confident on the phone with prospects/clients
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel
  • Economics or international affairs or marketing degree preferred
  • Phone sales experience, along with face-to-face selling
  • Experience selling in research and data services
  • Existing network of contacts
  • Experience with Sales Loft
  • Additional speaking language
