Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Adolescent Safeguarding Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of adolescents at risk of harm, while also supporting their parents and carers in their parenting capacity.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience in a children's team. Ideally, you will have experience in adolescent safeguarding, but this is not essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and is committed to delivering high-quality social work practice.
As a Social Worker in our Adolescent Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and investigations to identify adolescents at risk of harm
- Developing and implementing safety plans to protect adolescents from harm
- Working closely with other agencies, including police, health, and education, to ensure a robust multi-agency response to adolescents at risk
- Representing Achieving for Children at operational multi-agency meetings
