Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker to join our team at Octave Recruitment Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high levels of quality interventions using AfC's social work practice model, Signs of Safety, agreed quality standards and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex social work cases, ensuring robust risk management to protect adolescents and where appropriate, members of the general public.
- Undertake effective assessment and care planning with child in need and child protection frameworks.
- Develop and implement tailored support packages to meet the needs of young people and their families, in line with the service's practice framework.
- Work restoratively with adolescents and their families to achieve best outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively within an integrated working environment, including multi-agency working.
- Record, monitor, evaluate, and quality assure interventions using a range of tools and management information systems.
- Maintain awareness of risk management and safeguarding in social care, including legislation, policy, and procedures.
- Experience of managing complex social work cases.
- Knowledge of child in need and child protection frameworks.
- Ability to work restoratively with adolescents and their families.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work within an integrated working environment.
Please note that the salary for this role is £39,951.00 - £42,840.00 per annum, and the working hours are 36 hours per week.
