About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR People Partner to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for delivering an HR People Partner service and specifically Employee Relations Case Management to dedicated client groups.

You will lead on the delivery of the People Plan to ensure we are driving engagement, retention, D&I and people development whilst engaging, empowering and influencing stakeholders within your business area and wider Your McCarthy Stone team.

You will advise, guide and support colleagues and managers by providing high level people management and development support across designated business areas; whilst being comfortable offering advice and influence to all levels of seniority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of the People Plan to drive engagement, retention, D&I and people development
  • Deliver HR People Partner service and Employee Relations Case Management to dedicated client groups
  • Advise, guide and support colleagues and managers on people management and development
  • Lead on HR projects, taking ownership, management and delivery of key business initiatives
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to support the attraction, recruitment and selection for key roles
  • Work with the Reward team to ensure pay and benefits align to the marketplace
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced generalist HR Business Partnering role
  • Experience of managing an ER case workload including complex cases
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to deal with competing priorities to manage escalations and deliver to deadlines
  • Able to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders
