About the Role:The Residential Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and supporting a small team of staff, providing guidance and advice as needed. You will also be responsible for managing the daily running of the team, including planning and preparing young people for their future.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support and guidance to staff as required
- Manage the daily running of the team, including planning and preparing young people for their future
- Supervise and support the continued professional development of staff
- Deputise for the Registered Manager as needed
- Carry out supervisions of individuals and support for key workers
- Manage monies for activities
- Monitor and check staff to ensure they are carrying out their duties
- Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Be willing to learn and develop your skills
- Be able to work well as part of a small team
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as needed
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement
