Residential Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Residential Team Leader to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a purposeful, caring, and therapeutic environment for our young people.
About the Role:The Residential Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and supporting a small team of staff, providing guidance and advice as needed. You will also be responsible for managing the daily running of the team, including monitoring and checking staff duties, managing monies for activities, and developing programs to improve children's progress and interaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support and advice to staff as required
- Manage the daily running of the team
- Support and deputise for the Deputy Manager as needed
- Carry out supervisions of individuals and support for key workers
- Manage monies for activities
- Manage the daily needs of the children
- Monitor and check staff duties
- Take part in rostered sleep-in duties as required
- Develop programs to improve children's progress and interaction
- Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Be willing to learn and develop your skills
- Be able to work well as part of a small team
- Be willing to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position
- Experience with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work or Youth Work would be advantageous
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, with potential extra earnings of up to £3257.28
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times ranging from 8am, 12noon or 2pm
