Therapeutic Residential Team Leader Position

North Lakes is a well-established local provider of therapeutic residential care and education for boys aged 6-18. We improve the resilience, self-esteem and abilities of all the young people we work with.
The role of a Team Leader is to share in creating a purposeful, caring, therapeutic, learning environment for our young people, by the application of high professional standards of care and support for the young person's social, emotional and/or behavioural needs, and mental health and learning difficulties.
- Lead a team of staff to provide therapeutic interventions and support to young people.
- Supervise and support the continued professional development of staff.
- Manage the daily running of the team, including rostered sleep-in duties as required.
- Hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Be willing to learn and undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position.
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night.
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times ranging from 8am, 12noon or 2pm.
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement.
